St. Jude of the Lake offers Mahtomedi’s most robust pre-school program in partnership with Lake Area Discovery Center. Through this partnership, our pre-schoolers learn and grow in a loving and safe place.

St Jude's Discovery Center - Mahtomedi PreschoolProgram / Age Journey Information:

Monday through Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm

  • Explorer Classes: Toddler program for 16-35 month olds; part and full-time customized schedules available.
  • Discovery Class: Preschool for 3 and 4 year olds; part and full-time customized schedules available.
  • Kinderstart Class: Kindergarten readiness for 4 and 5 year olds; part and full-time customized schedules available.
  • Extended Care: Before and After School program, multi-age
  • Summer W.O.W.: Summer Preschool Camps for toddlers and preschoolers.
